About the Author

Christopher Earls Brennen was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and emigrated to California in 1969. He has lived and worked in southern California for over thirty years and has spent many great days exploring the marvellous scenic beauty of that corner of the world. In this book he tells of some of the special places that he has explored beyond the ends of the trails, in the canyons and deserts, on the islands and summits of southern Califorina.
